Lansen has wide knowledge and experience for over 18 years in project needs assessment, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and financial management. Experienced in staff and community capacity building, food security, sustainable livelihoods, natural resources management, sustainable energy, income generation and climate change adaptation. Skilled in research using both participatory and quantitative methodologies. Lansen has alot of experience working with communities at grassroots level including women and youth. Have also experience in proposal writing and HIV and AIDS and gender programming. Lansen has worked with and through District Councils using such structures as District Executive Committees (DEC) and Area Development Committees (ADC).
Lansen has worked in interdisciplinary teams in and through Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs), Government and Private Sector such as ExAgris Africa Limited, Mulanje Mountain Conservation Trust (MMCT), Concern Universal, Plan International, Project HOPE-Malawi (Village Health Bank) Environmental Affairs Department (Lake Chilwa Project), GTZ -TEVET, Dzuka Private Secondary School, Save the Children Fund – UK and ActionAid-Malawi.
